What Remains of Edith Finch

What Remains of Edith Finch is a very short game. You can finish it in around 2-3 hours. But it stays with you long after that. At least if you're the kind of person who likes to look deeper into a story, behind the cute graphics and great voice acting, into what the writer was actually trying to say through the use of some really unique and innovative storytelling. It really, really touched me and most of those stories are so well presented that I'm sure I'll remember them for a long time.

I don't want to say too much about What Remains of Edith Finch, because I really don't want to spoil the experience for you. If you like stories, I'm sure you're going to love this game. It's one of the best narrative driven adventures - yes, walking simulators! And for those who finished it: damn, that link to The Unfinished Swan, wow, I was speechless!

1. Beautiful, memorable visuals!

2. Grandma's place?

3. So much innovation in storytelling!

4. So that makes me kind of a Peeping Tom, right?

Graphicsbeautiful, impressive and imaginative visuals
Soundsuperb voice acting, beautiful music
Storyvery touching if you pause and actually think about it
Longevity2-3 hours to finish it, maybe 4 to see and hear everything

Live it!
